• Speak directly to the client, even if there is someone in the room with her or she has difficulty speaking
  • Explain to her what each step of the check-up will involve
  • If she has limited mobility, adapt the check up to suit her by asking her questions
  • Encourage her to ask questions
  • Be patient and take time with this, so when she does start her periods, the process is as simple as possible for her.
